Rapid chargers provide higher power charging and work quicker than fast chargers. With this in mind, don’t stray too far from your car when using a rapid charger, as other EV drivers may want to use it as soon as you’re done.
Fast chargers charge at speeds between 7kW and 22kW depending on the available power and the type of car. They’re generally used for smaller cars or when you expect a longer dwell time and will be plugged in for longer.
